GreenNest
GreenNest – UI/UX study
GreenNest was a personal project in which I experimented with unusual rounded shapes to create a more modern and distinctive look. The project also explored the complexity of designing an e-commerce webshop, where I focused on combining a unique visual style with clear usability. This balance between creative design choices and functional structure was central to making GreenNest both visually appealing and practical to navigate.

Project Focus — E-commerce Interior Store
I mainly focused on developing a strong and scalable foundation for a modern e-commerce interior store. The primary objective of this project was to create a website that is not only visually appealing, but strategically designed to drive conversions. Every design decision was made with the intention of supporting the purchasing process and guiding users toward clear actions.
A significant part of the project revolved around the implementation and optimisation of Call to Actions (CTAs). The placement, hierarchy, colour contrast, and wording of these elements were carefully considered to ensure they stand out without disrupting the overall aesthetic. The goal was to create a seamless user journey where visitors naturally move from inspiration to purchase.
The website is built with a commercial mindset. It is designed to sell interiors, which means usability, clarity, and trust were key priorities. Product presentation, navigation structure, and layout consistency were developed to reduce friction and increase confidence in the buying process. Visual balance between lifestyle imagery and product information helps users imagine the items in their own space while still providing the practical details needed to make a purchase decision.
Key Focus Areas
• Conversion-driven design
• Strategic Call to Actions
• Clean and modern visual identity
• User-centred navigation structure
• Strong product presentation
• Commercial usability and clarity
Outcome
The result is a modern e-commerce concept that combines aesthetics with functionality. The platform communicates a premium interior experience while maintaining a clear focus on sales performance and user engagement.

Wireframing — Structure Before Design
Before moving into the visual design phase, I focused on developing a clear wireframing structure to define the foundation of the website. Wireframing played an essential role in understanding the layout, user flow, and content hierarchy without the distraction of colours, typography, or visual styling. This allowed me to focus purely on functionality and usability.
The main goal during this phase was to create a logical and intuitive user journey that supports the commercial purpose of the platform. I explored different layout variations for key pages such as the homepage, product overview, and product detail pages. Special attention was given to the placement of Call to Actions, navigation clarity, and the balance between inspiration and product information.
Wireframing also helped to identify potential usability challenges early in the process. By testing structure first, I was able to refine interactions, improve content prioritisation, and ensure that the most important elements would receive the right level of visual attention in later design stages.
Key Focus Areas Page structure and layout hierarchy• User journey and navigation flow• Strategic placement of Call to Actions• Content prioritisation• Early usability validation
Outcome The wireframes created a solid blueprint for the design phase, reducing uncertainty and enabling more focused visual decisions. This structured approach ensured that the final design would not only look modern, but also function effectively as a conversion-driven e-commerce experience.
